Also when I did make the booking I asked if I could bring my dog as on their website they say their pet friendly, and the abrubt, snarly woman on the phone said "no we only allow people with pets for 2 days".

Prices are wrong on the outdated webpage. I called to book only to be advised "double the internet rate, the rates are wrong and we haven't updated them". There's a little law called false advertising. You can be assured that our business went straight to a park that was honest in their rates.

We had a two night stay here and it was an absolute pleasure. Sure the property could do with a makeover. But waking up to the sound of birds singing each morning and the beautiful scenery of the lake with a friendly "good morning" from the caretaker made up for that. Craig and the staff at Lismore Lake Holiday Park were so friendly. Craig himself was very welcoming, approachable, knowledgeable and an all round nice guy. He was more than happy to answer our questions openly and honestly. He even suggested places we could go tailored to what our interests were. The places recommended were just as lovely and the staff pleasant alike. Also.... It was very reasonably priced. Thanks Craig and the crew! We will definitely be staying here again

P.s. To the haters leaving bad reviews. May I remind you. Everyone has a story. Don't be so judgemental till you have all the facts.

I stayed here for 2 days with my mum and sister, that was fine but as soon as we opened the door our cabin was filled with insects. The bunk beds are so hard my sister had to sleep on the floor because the mattresses were to thin. The TV was up far to high you got a neck ache from craneing your neck.
